Short Tennis

Short tennis is a format of the sport tennis. It is designed as a training game for players learning to play tennis. As such it is played on a smaller court - usually a badminton court - using a lower net and larger, softer ball. Short tennis has been shown to accelerate the learning of tennis, particularly in younger players. As such, it is recognised as a common training method. Alternatively it can be played as a more social and less intense version of tennis.
